What’s your fave podcast these days?

I’ve been listening to the very gossipy, very silly Fixing Famous People lately. Two friends discuss the latest celebrity gossip and then “fix” a famous person who is having career or PR problems. Trigger warning: it is INCREDIBLY bitchy/bordering on mean-spirited and sometimes I feel a little gross after listening — like how you feel after eating half a pan of brownies… It is delicious in the moment and then sometimes a titch shame-spirally

In a more mentally healthy option, I have also recently fallen down the rabbit hole of the BBC’s voluminous History Extra podcast. It’s just a straightforward nerdy history podcast — usually an interviewer talking to an expert about their preferred subject-matter. I went down a real Pharaoh-hole on their five-parter on Ancient Egypt. (Shout out to another great podcast — Strong Sense of Place
