May I recommend A daily fried egg These things are delicious and super easy to make and keep you full for many hours. Rather than dumping ultra-processed grains into a bowl, you are treating yourself to something actually cooked in the morning, so you are taking the time to love yourself. You can have a plain fried egg, you can whip up some sautéed zucchini and celery and peppers, you can stick that fried egg between two english muffin halfs with some cheddar cheese and you’ve got yourself a breakfast sandwich.
Since I can no longer eat eggs (sad), I opt for a slice of toasted sour dough with olive oil and strawberry lavender jam. Sometimes I have a slice of cheese, some olives, or a handful of pistachios as well. Always washed down with an oat milk cortado. It’s no fried egg, but it is satisfying.
