May I recommend A warm bath. This is a controversial one, because many of my friends (and my daughter) liken taking a bath to roiling around in hot, greasy water infused with your own dead skin cells and day filth. I do think we’ve become hyper fixated on uber-hygiene… Until very recently we all slumped around in our seldom-washed pinafores and bloomers, covered in ringworm and fleas, while hacking our tuberculosis on one another. Trust me, you’ll get plenty clean in a bath.
I don't like baths. Growing up in a household with 14 people. 8 kids and 2 adults and no inside working bathroom until i was in grade 7. Our weekly bath consisted of a huge wash tub in the middle of the kitchen floor and many of us using the same water with warm water from stove ocassionally added.
About those folks who think taking a bath is filthy, I recommend that they first do a quick shower (maybe 5 minutes) beforehand as the Japanese do. I lived in Japan for several years and now practice this and it makes sense to me (though they do this because the bathwater is shared by more than one person in the household).
Lol I made a mistake in comment it should have said 8 boys and 4 girls plus the parents.
