Frances Fischer here & I agree wholeheartedly, Amy! Oh yeah - that magic summer in Ireland way back in 1971, unforgettable. I was even delighted with all the rain because I came from Tucson, Arizona, where we hadn't seen any the last 5 months. It started with 6 weeks at the School of Irish Studies in Dublin, then we got around. Out to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands in a curragh, rowed by 2 in the bow & 2 in the stern, & briefly accompanied by a whale shark, that passed under & alongside without even disturbing the surface. Ten hands caressed the swells above the massive back, trying to pretend they touched skin and spots. I have never seen such wonderful colors, shading from ocher to beige and spotted with white. The best gift from Ireland of the Welcomes.
