Oh…I’m sticking with it for sure. It’s just the new format. When I get near the end of a good story, I curl up wherever and no one can talk to me. The serial has put pause to that habit….and I’m loving it. It builds character…or something!
Amy…I’m at that stage in your book where I would normally grab a cuppa, close the door and read until it’s finished. Because today’s abrupt stop was particularly agonizing, I now have greater sympathy for Dicken’s readers. Still…it’s sooooo much fun!
Yay! I will say that as a writer, I really get things going in the last third of whatever I write -- I'm working on amping up sooner, but it does mean if you stick with it, my endings are usually pretty good and zippy!
