If I’m not mistaken, that recipe is from the Canadian Living Vegetarian Collection, which friend Meghan gifted me for Christmas in 2011. Meghan, you’re a legend! My note for that Quinoa Cake recipe, “Tasty, but I prefer Yotam O’s.” How’s that for full circle.
Also put the names of the people that ate the dish with you - that way you don't keep serving Amy the same dish every time she comes to your house. Learnings.
I like that Meghan almost got credit for this, but credit where it’s due goes to Marjorie Fee, our grandmother. Going through her recipes after her passing, we noticed on one her cue cards there were both notes on the recipe, and on the back of at least one the occasion for the recipe and who attended: Toga party with the Tears.
This inspired a new family practice.
May I recommend adding a few details of life at the time of making as well. Finally, sometimes a ‘still amazing’ might be required for an older comment….
